 Love by Chance by Linda L. Dowd True love may come your way by chance, and when it is least expected. It can tickle your nose ~ and curl your toes, as two hearts are connected. Love can be quite capricious, and come sneaking up on you. It can quicken your step ~ and give you pep, and alter your point of view. You may be out for a morning jog. or shopping around the mall. ~ When you flush in face as heart does race, and head over heels you fall! A warm "Hello" and a smiling face, can turn your knees to jello. A twinkling eye ~ can make you sigh, and make you meek and mellow. True love may come your way by chance, So go through each day with style. Look always your best ~ be neatly dressed. ~ Be friendly and wear a smile! ~ |

Well, my friend, it will have to be very sneaky to sneak up on me. I have my guard up, ya know. Love does indeed cause you to do many things. I haven't forgotten that much. LOL! |

Linda, This is fairly good. I'd do something with the fourth strophe. There are too many end rhymes there. It doesn't fit in with the rest. Bobby |

REJ ~ Thanks Bobby. You were 'write' about the end rhymes so I made a change. For some strange reason this poem just wasn't working for me. The ideas flowed ~ but my 'pen' didn't!  Thank goodness my poems usually seem to practically write themselves. Otherwise, I might not have written so many of them! lol Linda |
