Hello all ...thank you for your kindness this week ...you all brightened a pretty dark time ....Thank you Life’s´ Line You would think life’s´ line was straight as an arrow Direct and assured You would think all was planned Fixed and secured But life’s like a corkscrew Twisted and bent If you follow the path You’ll not know where you’re sent It could be today, tomorrow …next year When you find your Nirvana…no living in fear If you forge right ahead and follow your signs Keep hope in your heart for life’s´ great design You will reach your dreams Built on foundations of stone With family and friends You are never alone. |

quote: It was nice to read your uplifting poem, dear Ray. This is really beautiful. Every now and then we find ourselves crossing dark tunnels, but the light at the end of it, keeps us on track. Love, Margherita |

"You will reach your dreams Built on foundations of stone With family and friends You are never alone." ~ Yes! Yes! Yes! Ray, you're still in my thoughts and prayers. May we, your new friends here at pip, be a comfort for you during this difficult time. Please continue to share your feelings with us. Healing takes time. Your poem is filled with grace. Linda |

I enjoyed your poem, Ray, and am grateful to be part of the PIP people you are thanking. However, I would like to comment on the concept of your poem in one particular regard. Consider the possibility that Nirvana isn't somewhere out there in the future - consider that it is attained doing and being the best you can with what you have at any given moment - that if you look around you, the blessings you have are so often eclipsed by your future desires whether they are realistic or not. The time you spend arriving at your destination is so much shorter than the time you spend on the journey. You could be let down by the destination, so make the journey itself the best it can be in all possible ways. I am 62 (and a half!) and I often forget all of the above. I am glad I wrote it here to remind myself too. - Owl |
