Yes, I seem to have a theme;
lonely, long days of love wanted.

But this is not my life;
You have to know that
because I look to your eyes,
to see my reflection.

Make way, I'm coming.
And stepping on
wildflowers,
because my path has not
been tread yet.

What you hear, what you read
is not what makes me, my dear.

I am also smiles and laughter;
I am thoughts and wishes.
I even remember to think of you
once in awhile in my prayers.

So look for me, head held high
Hands above eyes searching.

Looking for you, looking for adventure,
looking for whatever is thrown me.
Because without looking,
You can't catch the ball, dear.

Make way, I'm coming.
And stepping on
wildflowers,
because my path has not
been tread yet.

Very straight forward and honest but with a tender side. My kind of writing.

There is such sweetness in this admission and in those prayers sent secretly.

Very lovely!

Lovely imagery! I particularly like your "chorus" ...

"Make way, I'm coming.
And stepping on
wildflowers,
because my path has not
been tread yet"

Thanks for sharing!
