She’s sweet honeysuckle Blackberry wine Fresh cotton Scantily swaying on a line She’s fountain of summer’s Delicious sweat Creak of porch swing Sipping daiquiri sunset She’s silly laughter Notes of a song Carried on breezes That linger on and on She’s hot! With no chance of rain The forecast (sigh) Is for more Of the same! |
