NOT TO BE! I guess that I never knew That, loneliness could grow But, that’s one life lesson I’m beginning to know. Sure, there are those times When, it’s nice to be alone But, that emptiness of the heart I’ve let mature, has truly grown. I don’t have any friends At least, there’s none nearby Though I try in vain, for more I never know, quite why? I have people that I love And, who I know love me But, we are so far apart That, sharing, not to be! 06.10.2008 Del "Abe" Jones Mankind's greatest accomplishment is not the revolution of technology, it is the evolution of creativity. |

Abe, so many can relate to your poem, I'm sure. There are so many reasons we can be alone... too numerous to mention. But for some reason, you never seem to be entirely alone, here at PiP. |

I can imagine that it would be rather lonely when family and friends live far away from you. I could really sense the loneliness in your words. Giving you a warm, hug, Linda |

Hello Abe, it's really convincing, we need both loneliness and relationships for the worst and the best.... thank you for sharing your beautiful poem. yann |

Abe, This is a sad poem. It made me think how it must be for those people that can't hear, or see. That must be very lonley. Bobby |
