Woodmere Sanitarium I found him riding on a broom, existing on the edge of innerspace, somewhere beyond the margins of mainstream in this dark foreboding place. This was his reststop, a place to dream, a place to skip a rock or two as he dallied in thought, 'bout the lady and her shoes. Oh, her slippers were as magical as the magic in his broom... for they carried her, beyond the margins, into the ajointing room. Each of us existing in worlds so far apart... me, in a laced jacket... she, in the practice of psychiatric art. |

R. V. Wooo, This is very good work. It sounds like a pleasant stay at the Sanitarium. Bobby |

bobby, ea, ida, and margherita, thank you for taking the time to read and comment. bobby, i can't say the stay at woodmere was entirely pleasant...it had its ups and downs. ea, i'm still searching for the advantages. learning to cope with survival skills and setting realistic goals have been the major advantages of the 'crazy' experience. ida, it warms my heart to know you find joy in my writing...i, too, have experienced joy in you works as well... and margherite, thank you for sharing your thoughts in, both, your poetry and your comments...you are a true joy. |
