It always seems were chasing,
Chasing what we can’t have,
The air that leaves us wanting more,
But the money catches you,
The love raises you,
But I’m done chasing,
I’ve learned and bruised,
And I have grown…

Grown into a “man”,
At least someone who understands
That beauty rests with accepting
Who we are, what were surrounded by,
And that our happiness will come with a sleek patience,
With an understanding,
That everyone’s happiness is different,
How one person’s views serenity
Can be fatally flawed to another.

I still question regardless,
My imperfections are perfections,
And I don’t claim to be higher than anyone else.

I merely rinse my hands and smile in the mirror.

I loved the last line.  Being able to look in the mirror and like what you see is a true accomplishment.  Joyce

That's right,  we had better like what we see in the mirror or we're in big trouble.

I liked your poem very much, you did a great job here.
