yesterday was in perhaps shoes
like the easy side of under trees
and you took your afternoon
like a sipping whiskey nap times

we were royal in our want to be
you were elegant in that side of you
that stays behind those eyes often
when you keep the unlock elsewhere

our driver was a bit darker than noon
but he brought light to your eyes
when the little girl of your woman
read christmas in our journey

and made the young man of me smile

D

I read and smiled - and smiled some more from the sheer beauty of your poetry.  I smiled for the way I feel as I read it.  I smiled as I realized that I believe all who read your words feel as if you are speaking to that one person.  You are intimate in how you reach out.  Does that make sense?  Hell, I don't care.  That is how I see it.

I know I'm supposed to be typing a reply, talk about getting myself boxed in.
Forgive me, I'm having a moment at the moment.
suffice to say, you're too much,(in a good way) and that2.
