I’m waiting. I look for you In places you aren’t. Will we know right away? I have an idea of what you are, But no image. You are kind and simple. You are goofy and fun. You talk and appreciate and work hard and laugh. And when we look at each other, no words are needed. We know. Our arguments may get fierce. Our days may get dull. But we know it’s just part of our journey. Are you hiding from me? You make me hopeful Waiting for the touch I haven’t felt. This is for you…. wherever you are, I can’t wait for us to meet. I’m ready, are you? |
