dating coach :

these young ladies deserve a good greeting ….

howard :

                                          [leans over]

Eve, did you get your greeting card

                                    [Eve nods and smiles]

howard :

                        good

dating coach :

and that's why we’re holding this impromptu meeting

                        does everyone have their seating?

                        time is fleeting

Eve, do you or Howard have any issues that need completing

                                              [meanwhile]

teacher :

and this technique is known as completing the square

                        any questions?

                                       [Julie raises her hand]

according to this word problem it appears as though Howard was only competing for care

because eve wasn’t completing her square

teacher :

                        that’s not entirely true

julie :

                        okay

but shouldn’t she have been treating her square

with stares of satisfaction that would have been repleting her square

teacher :

                        she should have Julie

julie :

                        what happened?

teacher :

sometimes when deleting the time away from  her square

                        things became complicated

julie:

could you give me an example

teacher :

                        sure

                                         [erasing the blackboard]

let’s say it’s sleeting in Times Square

julie :

                        okay

now let’s say Eve and Howard were to travel up there for a romantic getaway despite the bad weather

according to the quadratic formula good times could be created if the two lovebirds eating some cereal such as .....

                                  [writing on the blackboard]

                        ...... oatmeal squares

at any local diner wasn’t considered cheating

julie :

                        i got it!!!!!!!

like  Johnny does when we're playing Four Square

                                             [class laughs]

                        exactly Julie

                                        [back at the meeting]

howard :

                        no we’re fine

dating coach :

you sure there’s nothing to declare?

howard :

                        well ….

                                             [looking at Eve]

                                                 [she nods]

                        there is one little thing

                        well what is Howard?

remember that spy movie starring Tom Cruise?

dating coach :

                        Mission Impossible

howard :

                        exactly

well we watched it and …

dating coach :

                        wait a minute ..

                        you said we

                        but that mission's impossible

howard :

                        not exactly

dating coach :

                        explain

howard :

                        permission is possible

dating coach :

                        how is this so?

                                        [looking at Eve]

                       should i tell him?

                                             [she nods]

                        the poetry submissions

                        they made it possible

dating coach :

                         really??!!!

                                   [they nod together]

                        well, this is good news

guys if you don’t mind I’d like to talk to Howard and his muse alone

                                            [bangs gavel]

                                         meeting adjourned

                                                                                                                  love,

                                                                                                                  eve & howard
