By now
I should know
My way around
This neighborhood
Pretty well

It must be cold

There are winter coats
In evidence though as yet
I see no snow upon the roads

Before dawn comes
And the rational mind
Once again regains control

A silent house
With wooden eaves
You standing at the door

You paint your scenes so well and bring emotions!

Just beautiful.

Beautiful!  The cold and the pain seeps into my bones.

The longing in this poem makes me sad but it is (as always) an excellent write.
