Sometimes, I have had enough,
enough stress, enough of life,
trying to just exist,

All the frustrations,
decisions, responsibilities,
I try to escape jail,

When I bust out,
I get in my car and drive,
to the ends of the earth,

Burning the rubber,
till midnight,
mile after mile,

Just me and my music,
so peaceful, relaxing,
but now gas prices!!!

So I still get all flustered,
like a rooster in a hen house,
I just have to get out of here!

even if its just a mile,
down the street and back,
thats all I can afford,

isn't that the way life goes?

I agree. We have probably the lowest gas prices here, $3.67, but it still hurts to fill up.
