Somewhere halfway between there and here lies a realm I habitually wander within, a habitat wherein dreams and fantasies liberate my mind and soul from the mudflats and sinkholes of this often-mundane reality. It’s not the Elysian Fields, nor is it any Valhalla or Shantineketan, but a dynamic living fluid blue, a cyber world of words, a magical myriad of thoughts and emotions with healing salves of friendship and understanding. It's a place I seek when morning’s light is weak, or when midnight's moonglow hides behind dark shadows, unable to light the soul-spark within a too-fragile heart. Passionate people parade there, presenting perfumed poetic parcels for this pauper’s perusal. Casting aside worry and fear, I dwell in this realm halfway between there and here, seeking and finding great Peace. Namaste Thank You |

"Casting aside worry and fear, I dwell in this realm halfway between there and here, seeking and finding great Peace. Namaste" ~ and in such a realm of peace, the Divine in me honours the Divine in you, as well. Linda |

Kacy, I love the alliteration in this verse "Passionate people parade there, presenting perfumed poetic parcels for this pauper’s perusal." and the overall diction of the piece. And while it may be true that this is no Valhalla it is a second home. Bravo ~Jill JNS "I celebrate myself, and sing myself, And what I assume you shall assume, For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you."-WW |

quote: Great feelings beautifully expressed, dear Kacy. I second your thoughts and I do hope the "missing" friends will show up again, there are quite a few of them. Love, Margherita |

May we each find such a fine and peaceful place of grand respite (somewhere between all the 'boredom and the chowder') both on and off the magical blue cyber-sands (along that cyber-sea) of "P.I.P.-land"...that "realm...wherein dreams and fantasies liberate (the) mind and soul" |

Oh, Kacy, this is so you and so beautiful. I love it. I am going to look up on the Internet what Shantineketan is. Just one point though, a pauper you be NOT. You are so rich in soul and poetry and spirit and one of the leading lights in the window here, guiding lost friends back to these, our blue pages. - Owl |

I remember when I first came to these blue pages. A Midnitesun caught my eye and I wondered ... if she knew of my home. If she would understand things that I might write of. And she did. And she does. I am so glad that you are here. Alison |
