I don’t love you anymore Is all you said to me Pulling my heart out For everyone to see You dropped me just like that As if I meant nothing to you What about the things we had? Does it even matter to you? I gave you my heart I sold you my soul You pulled us apart And dug me a hole You buried me so deep Forgetting all our memories Too deep to be seen Too deep to breathe |

If the bucket is emptied and nothing replaces it, all that is left is emptiness. True love, in my view, must always be a two way street. You have done well to write a poem filled with intense pain and disappointment. I often use poetry to start the process of healing. Wishing you the best, Art |
