I thought we're going to play. Why am I in this stack of clay. The rubble makes me suffocate. Take me out, mama, I promise to behave. The lights turn dimmed. I can't see a thing. Please leave a light for me. I don't want to sleep. Is it time to say goodnight? I miss mama tucking me in. A kiss in the forehead, and bedtime story. Mama, I'm afraid. Goodnight, baby. Go to rest, I'll join you later, I'll see you again. Know that you will be in good hands, in the forever land. I love you baby. Mama loves you till then. In memory of all the angels that are back home in heaven after the Sichuan earthquake. |

Oh, this is really heartwrenching in its profound beauty. Makes me want to cry ... That is really a tremendous disaster, so many tears to dry! Thank you for this. Love, Margherita |

Margherita, Thanks for reading and sharing my feelings for these children and their mamas. Though I'm not a mother, I'm a teacher who mingle with children everyday. I think I most probably will treasure my times with the children more and understand my mother's enduring love for me. May all the children be in heaven. FNG |

You are a beautiful soul and teacher. In moments like these we realize our fragility. But I do know that even a short life has a wonderful mission, insofar it teaches love ... and I am sure all children are dancing in a heavenly garden. Love, Margherita |

I have cried many a tear over the loss of life and all of the travesty caused by the earthquake in China. Upon reading this exceptionally moving write, a few more tears have been added to the pool of them. God bless them all, EA |

this was earth shattering, to see so many children suffer....die.... a wondrous yet sad dipiction |
