and you whisper to my mind then
about the pieces of you
being your skin in moments
like the glances of your eyes
or a line on your neck
where you leaned close to whisper

and a memory remained
before I even knew you name
but I memorized your lips
how they folded together into a maybe
or perhaps, like a nonchalant
over your shoulder little girl side

I have seen you determined
when your nails were red in sandals
and you were just driving to get away
from somewhere you hadn't been yet
like there might be a stranger there
noticing you in your new nylons

or your arms when they were comfortable

Emotion filled words, it is as if every word was a single dancer who contributes to the harmony of the whole performance ... and you, the POET, are the choreographer ... an outstanding one ...

Admiring you, dear D.!

Love,
Margherita

Your unique talent for potent provacative imagery remains unchallenged. You write like no other- a seduction of verse.
