Sacred

Every year
thousands of Chinese brides
get married in the parks
that kiss the rivers
and meander off
into silky meadows.

There is nothing
as sacred as
the union of
a man and a woman
and if God
has His way
it will be so
until the end
of time.

Dear James,
you really are a man with principles and I love the way you express your belief. To be so deeply aware of the sacredness of a marriage is rare nowadays one would say.

Thank you for this!

Love,
Margherita

To propagate the species in sacred union, and to do so with love and honor, what calling could be higher!

What a lovely way to express the beauty and reverence of a man and woman joining in one life.  Thanks for sharing
