Life is such a changing thing The constant run makes each day short With all the things that it does bring Again I have another thought We question things of love and living Finding that our thoughts all speak Though actions planned and outlook giving Truth through actions seem too weak Dreams escape the world we know But often we do not recall We venture and so happy go Before we wake to leave it all Time the demon of our chase But none of us do know our fate We rarely pray but seek the grace To save our place before too late To wake up breathing from our rest What a start to feel alive But once again we start the test And in the jungle just survive But that is life and we are blessed Growing old to share our view Lucky to have been a guest Unto this world that’s seen a few |

"Growing old to share our view" - need to tell my wife that (among all the other things we've grown old together with)- then again, maybe I shouldn't provoke her - she already "shares" a lot of her "view" with me! LOL... Much enjoyed this, my friend... jimmy |
