Golden Seashore

The sun sets, lavishing its color on the sand
Enthralling sea and sky to blend into golden hush
Dancing starlight flickers ocean face
Time takes on texture, flowing softly in its fabric
The burden and tonnage of chaotic days still
Untangling there hold, to succumb to the fawn of deliverance
Making up sounds of anticipation, yanked by the collar my soul
To turn eyes wide and open looking into waves of sanity
Majesty, is dressed to be the silken sighs of a golden seashore

Kathleen, you so inspire me. How wonderful it would be to look at life through your eyes if even for a day.

Beautiful.

Fine imagery here!...

I am most fond of:

“The sun sets, lavishing its color on the sand
Enthralling sea and sky to blend into golden hush
Dancing starlight flickers ocean face
Time takes on texture, flowing softly in its fabric…”

Applause!

This poem was so hauntingly touching to my soul.  I find your reflections and the imagery you used a tranquil journey to some wonderous place.  Thank you for sharing your own delightful visions.

this is simply lovely...loved this line best:

"Time takes on texture, flowing softly in its fabric"...so poetically descriptive, btw, congrats on "Raspberry Murmurs"
