. Through A long window Like a cat Watching children Coming into the theatre Who Perhaps because Of the way I twitch my whiskers Look back at me With wide eyes . |

John, This is nice, however, it's unclear to me for some reason. Bobby |

. Bob, I’m the accountant at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, Illinois where today we had a performance of “Give a Mouse a Cookie” which was attended by over 2,000 school children who looked to be about six to eight years old. This was an Issa moment more for my own remembering than anything else. ( I had forgotten what it is like to be so young). John . |

I like the way your poetry captures pictures in time, and the resolution is just so very fine! A very good read, and the explication added to its enjoyment! Thanks for sharing with us! Art |

Having worked in the schools for 30 years, I am very familiar with the story "Give a Mouse a Cookie." and when I saw your title, somehow I knew that was what it was about. I think as we get older it benefits us to be around children as often as possible. Always gives us a new and fresh perspective. Ida |
