On His Returning From War The winter winds blow soft tonight Each memory is held in tow Her auburn hair catches the light Reflected on the pallid snow Desperately he pulls her tight Years disappear beneath love’s glow I am nothing special...and my name will soon be forgotten,but I've loved another with all my heart and soul,and to me,this has always been enough.~N.S |
