Oh Sweet face
of Autumn
gentle whispering
of river
Honeyed orb
within your sky
your fertile fields

aquiver

Let me sow
my fondness
tween the furrows,
of your earth

And guide
my seed
within your rows
so passion
deep inside

gives birth

Let us reap
the wine
of dreams
that gathers
from our
tears

Filling up
the goblets
of your
love
that I

revere

Let you
take my
harvest
that I
planted
in your

spring

Give in
unto me
and let
your
bounty

soon
begin

There will
never be
a frost

nor fall
of discontent

The beauty
of your
foliage

Is in
concert
with
your scent

My love
for you
comes deep
within
the wild

of the call

More than
every leaf
there ever was

will

ever fall

Held between
the
summer’s glow
and chill

of winters
vine

You,

the season
of my

heart

Sweet
Sunday Dream

of mine

I liked this overall, specially this:

"And guide
my seed
within your rows
so passion
deep inside

gives birth"

Shall I compare this to a Summer's day--your comparison worked quite well even with the short stacato lines.
"There will
never be
a frost

nor fall
of discontent"  I give in to the hop e of love everlasting  Hope you have yours.

Extraordinarily beautiful lines, dear Richy!
You carry the reader into your dreamland and the view is very very enticing.

Another rich Richy gem!  I loved it all, but especially the way you switched "The Call of the Wild."

Richy,

Never fear!  I caught Linda before she hit the floor from her swoon!  Beautiful.  I can see why your poem got to her.
