Spring Leaves Tree leaves display themselves in their spring green color. Their green is filled with yellow Because of all the golden warmth They had to absorb from the sun before bursting forth. Spread before the sky, Their green will soak in some of its blue. Cellular biochemistry may provide A more accurate explanation, But looking at it now, My sight and soul prefer the tale just offered. Yes, my sight and soul also prefer the tale offered. Science has a way of distorting the beauty of all things natural. To see it is to feel it so who cares about scientific explanations? Not me. Helen |

quote: Your words describe so perfectly a picture my son took of Spring vegetation in the countryside and showed me just yesterday evening. Spectacular green shining so bright!! And your awareness shows so beautifully. Love, Margherita |

I'm glad your son's pictures managed to capture that brightness. Mine usually end up somewhat flat, but I'm glad my simple story catches some part of the alchemy. |
