Everybody pray with me tonight
as you read this poem
for once I write something on this night
not for me, for someone else back home.

My best friend Megan, she's very sick
and I fear she might die soon
maybe God can play one of his tricks
and cure Megan from this tomb

She may have a brain toomer
and things are not looking bright
so maybe an epithany may sooth her
and she can be cured by God's light

So please everyone pray with me
as I pray with you today
ask God to open his eyes and see
and cure Megan, so she may live for far more days.

Angel,

Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky does a good job of explaining the effect of mass prayer in his book “The Brothers Karamazov.”  Miracles can, and do happen.  One never knows.  In any case, keep your chin up.

Of course I'll pray for her.

Healing thoughts sent your way dear freind.
May dear Meagans's health improve so that she can continue to share in her life with everyone that she holds dear, and that her loved ones too have her as well to hold, and to love.

Blessings to you, and Meagan.

xTr3m3sT,

One of the things in this life that I am sure of is that God hears and answers prayer.  I do not know this because I believe it, I believe it because I know it.  I have experienced answers to prayer in my life many times.  It certainly will be an honor and privilege to pray for both you and Meagan.

My dear poet,

My husband, and a dear friend and poet here on our own boards, have experienced brain tumors. I will put your friend in my prayers, indeed. Some are "ok" to remove, the fear of them alone put us "out there" in the realm of the unknown.

Please keep us apprised.

Thank you all for your heartfelt words :]]

I really and deeply hope that God may find a way to help my best friend, I don't know what I would do without her...

Angel,

This is good news.  See that, I told you so.  Just like Dostoyevsky said.
