somehow the purpled mist of vespertine softens the cacophony of earthen fray as the subdued radiance of a rising moon dulls sharp edges of a falling day perhaps the gods omnipotent employ the moon from heaven sent to dissolve the sun and harken night to bridge divides transcendent or just maybe eventide with passing of the sun hushes man and beast alike with splendor of a day now done |
