Definitive shadows of the trees becoming ever pale as the world merges into a grey gloom with juxtaposition losing it’s definitive detail and the flowers have lost their will to bloom Will a new definitive source of contrasting light prevail; for the clouds conceal beauty and consume all once darkly definitive as if a colourless veil with a thickness ominous to entomb This ship will sail out to sea with a delicacy tonight for this voyage would be in vain without the navigator’s essential delicacy of guiding light which removes all of the storm’s prior doubt The pen scratches the paper with delicacy as I write discerningly, not knowing what about yet reserving the delicacy to be painfully right but the ink, like all else in life, fades out |

First, I love how you tied the stanzas together with the rhyme schemes...nicely done. Second (as far as content) really liked your last stanza best. |
