It is pointless to seek the love object of your dreams in the world of petty clocks and papers. Instead, cultivate within yourself the qualities for which you yearn In your idealized dream betrothed and the object of desire will come to you. For to Him or Her, you will mean EVERYTHING. a dream come true in human form, the angel Providence has always meant for you. and you become the object of his or her desire. then, gazing in each other's eyes, You will glimpse the grandeur of creation; to him or her, you will be and mean the world. No dating service will ever tell you this, because it doesn't pay. OOOOOOO I just realized there is an actual earth angel on here, so maybe I better be more careful what I write??????? :--------) |

I particularly LOVE the line: “…the world of petty clocks and papers (!)” and…especially fine advice: "cultivate within yourself the qualities for which you yearn In your idealized dream betrothed” applause! |

"cultivate within yourself the qualities for which you yearn In your idealized dream betrothed" That is definitely a very good starting place, even in: "the world of petty clocks and papers" |

Jaime, with God as my witness, I had not read your poem before now! I got goosebumps when I came to the line ~ "For to Him or Her, you will mean EVERYTHING." You and I are on the same wave-length to be sure. I just reposted a reworked version of my love poem entitled "My Everything"!!!! I even got more goosebumps when I came to your following lines ~ "then, gazing in each other's eyes, You will glimpse the grandeur of creation; to him or her, you will be and mean the world." ~ In my poem, I wrote about the same thing! Then, you make that comment about "Earth Angel" at the close of your divine love poem! My word, do great minds ~ and hearts ~ think alike or what! Again, I swear before All that is Holy, I am blown away by the similarities between our poems. I actually like yours better! lol Love to you, dear kindred spirit! Earth Angel |

This is wonderful Jaime ... it's a rich and wisdom-filled gem. I particularly liked these lines: "Instead, cultivate within yourself the qualities for which you yearn In your idealized dream betrothed and the object of desire will come to you." So very true, I really enjoyed this! ![]() Best wishes, /Kit |
