Here's the way I see it, no-one in their right mind would attempt to write anything along the lines of Mr. Lewis Carroll's work. I guess that just about covers it. Doc. I completely agree with your opening comment ![]() In your profile comments you state Do I merely echo what has been said before ? This poem answers that question with a resounding NO!!! ![]() |

Bobby, Lol, a tasty treat, or so I'm told. Thanks, Doc Balladeer, Thank you kind sir. I wouldn't recommend this to the faint of heart, I'm pretty sure it may have caused further permanent damage. Doc Karen, Thanks, believe it or not, I think this was caused by "relative sobriety" (a state I'm not all that familiar with, but, I do know that it's not in Kansas anymore .)Be well, Doc Ida, Lol, I assure you, no illegal substances were harmed in the making of this .Thanks, Doc Rick, Thanks, o.k., I'll bite. Doc Steavnr, Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it. Doc Thanks again to all the above. This proved to be more of a challenge than I first envisioned it. To begin, it's quite daunting to even attempt to emulate poets of this order. Add to that Mr. Dodgsons' uncanny ability to make sense out of gibberish, his skill at word play and other writing talents, and the task becomes mind-boggling. Fortunately, my mind came "pre-boggled", so all I did was make anagrams of the twenty-nine words Mr. Dodgson invented and then sprinkled them throughout the poem to try to tell the tale of how the "Vorpal Sword" may have come into being ( in case you were wondering ).
