Torrents of Stillness Quoth the core, the heart’s desire Doth the mind employ And what is certain doth inspire The soul to calm and joy. O, speak, my spirit, waves of peace Torrents of stillness serene As from my rest I find release And bliss breaks on the scene. Grant, I pray, the ecstasy That comes with delight divine And let its pleasures follow me As we, in love, entwine. |
