Time is like a railway track that ends where I can’t see to make me know love disappears when it speeds by in the mind and doesn’t stop to touch. And touch is like a safe place that welcomes in the free and manifests through physical how the spirit feels. And how the spirit feels is most times like a mystery that unfolds when it’s too late to impart the meaningful through a sigh, a smile, and a twinkle in the eye. And a twinkle, sigh, and smile is like precious cutlery that slips the meaningful into soul’s awesome life. And soul’s awesome life is when you pass through mind but two hands interlocked is a woman’s need, desire. And a woman’s need, desire is imparted through the mind when lovers are the way they are and not how they” think” they are. And how they think they are is plain and simply, don’t you know, life’s greatest ever lie! Helen / 4 May 2008 |

You used a special form here for your heart and soul ponderings, dear Helen, and the result is great I think. The conclusion comes a little unexpected, but no doubt you may be right that we experience true love only when we let go all the obstacles created by "mind structures" and flow with the feelings. We should simply let go and flow with love. And now you might write the sequel to this ... excluding the "think how" and just letting the feelings speak. Love and hugs. Margherita |

Oh so true Helen. Perception is reality, yes? We are to a large degree, how we are perceived. No matter how we think, otherwise. Oh yeah, And… I loved this. |

I really enjoyed the way you framed this poem and the tale it tells. Love is always half truth, half lies, perhaps because we don't always know the truth ourselves. A truly well written piece. sharyn |

Hello, Honey! "Time is like a railway track that ends where I can’t see" ~ Memorable lines! "And a twinkle, sigh, and smile is like precious cutlery that slips the meaningful into soul’s awesome life." ~ May your soul be justly rewarded with such "precious cutlery". Loving hug, Linda |
