No Return Just beyond these evening hills and the warm Spring sunset’s final glow … soft, sad moonlight rides a gentle wind, to bathe the xeriscaped mind in cascading memories and waterfall dreams, (with shaded sound and image) of all the faces, forms, loves and laughter forever fading… which we have left so far behind, along our many chosen and unexpected paths of no return. ---b. e. adams (4/2/08) |

Bruce, Your poetry is so beautiful - it's sad too and my thoughts are with you. You replied to Roniece and said that you wished you had friends like she is to me. I think you do. I am always here if you need an 'ear' to talk. And, I am always here to read the beauty of your words. Alison |

Yo Secondhanddreampoet, This is very good. I really liked that kicker at the end. Those "many chosen and unexpected paths of no return" just about wraps up a lifetime. Bobby |

Bruce, I second what Alison has said. I am always no more than an email away and I will always read and be blown away by your beautiful poetry... Although it is so very beautifully written, this one feels very sad... Tammy<333 |

I feel this way too, the paths of no return, and the wonder at where they might have led, had we taken another one. Nice writing. Sandra |

Your poetry is often sad but always "soul touching" and brilliant. Ida |
