Beltane In lip quivered anticipation My heart leaps, to dance as May imparts its charms Fragile blossoms gleam against new day impressions Lingered here within my dreams are love’s expressions We dance, upon a timeless ribbon, stretched and ruffled Your arms, my haven…take the harsh of toiled hours exhaled Instead to be embraced in peaceful requiem For here, amid the warmth of spring, born again the heavens sing As if tranquility was fragrance of your being near Beltane, Beltane Enchant us, in the falling petals where we lay Copyright Kkh 5/1/08 |
