I journeyed to the land of Decipher
Where monosyllables did reign
And all made sense in rhyme and form
And words were simple and plain

I learned the rules and ways so rigid
And feelings fallow I did not feign
Keeping the meanings clear and true
Holding the message to retain

Simplicity, sophistication effortlessness
‘Til I hid the message in this small mess
And in the land of Decipher I did de-rail
Landing my duplicitous words in the Grammarian Jail

So the message is clear and the message is plain
For this one thing you surely must learn
Keep it clear and keep it simple or you, too will be
Bound by colons, guarded by an apostrophe
