A raven is a mustard seed,
a wardrobe is a drop of honey,
a clock is a sun above a table cover,
a striped cat is a keyhole
in a crocodile's eyes,

A cloud is a lucky bag,
an ant is the French Revolution,
an eiderdown plays the roulette,
Alice is a cherry
and I’m a forged banknote in her pocket,

Things are not what they are
but as Charles Dodgson said
things are what they aren’t.

When I was about 6 years old I got a big thick Alice in Wonderland color book and a huge box of crayons for Christmas. It was my favorite Christmas gift, ever, and I've always loved Lewis Carroll's stories since then

Hello Ida, I asked myself wether Walt Disney had realized Alice in Wonderland when you were 6....I am sure considering your imagination that your parents couldn't have made a better choice when they offered you this book from this great english writer and think there can't be a better school and pleasure  for writing than to write for kids.

Have a very nice day in L.A (here the sky is grey, the people look sad)

Perfect ending "Things are not what they are
but as Charles Dodgson said
things are what they aren’t"  I had never heard that.  I will cherish it.sharyn
