Let’s play make believe

Smile for the camera.
Smile, every one is watching.
Come let us play make believe again.
I’ll be the princess
Awaiting her rescue
You be the knight come to save me.
Come let us play make believe again.

Smile everyone is starring
Come, the expecting the happy tale again.
Come let us play make believe again
I’ll be the princess
You be the knight, come and rescue me again.

Smile.
The happy endings soon at hand
They’re awaiting the story they were told over and over again.
Once upon a time,
In a land far from here.
Come, let’s go there again.

Smile, as everyone is looking.
Come let us play make-believe again.
You pretend you love me
I’ll act as though I’m happy
You be the knight in shining armor
I'll be the damsel
Come why not rescue me one last time.

Smile there all watching
Expecting our happy ending
The likes of which is never coming
Come though let us play make believe once more.

It sucks that life sometimes plays out this way. It should not have to be a fairytale of pretend and make believe. It‘s far too short to be played that way… Very sad write AAB.

So many people are playing make believe when all they need to do is open their mouth and say what's really on they're mind
and take it from there. Good writing on the subject.
