They look into your mind

To seek whatever they may find

Some kind of pleasure

Or memories to treasure

They see the beauty outside

Even the same inside

They can give you a look

And read you like a book

Eyes are a necessity of living

They just keep on giving and giving

The gift of everyday sight

For the beautiful days and wondrous nights
