hi everybody,
it's been a while...ahh finals
here's one for two or more of your senses

in the shadow of giants [beautiful]
-----------------------------------
Turn the screw
Feel the pinch
He said to me as he sat on the street
And his eyes they were bleeding
Black in the center
I could not remember
The words that he uttered from down in the gutter

Years they pass
Somehow we last
I find myself in the line just to see him
These troubles I bring him
To see his face
It’s a race
Here you can take my place
Looks like you need it
Well I’ll just concede it

Look ahead
Where I see
He said to me as he sat on the street
And his eyes they were bleeding
Black in the center
The light was escaping
The words that he offered were mine for the taking

It’s beautiful

Plant a seed
Next to me
He said to me as he sat on the street
And his eyes they were bleeding
Watch as it tries to take
Through the rock and the weight
Stronger than we are
Now make it your saving grace

It’s beautiful

if you care to experience the musical version of this, listen here December Rising

hope some enjoyment ensues:-)
