Dreamscape

There’s a place in the caverns deep
That I will go to in my sleep
Where fairy folk will dance and play
It’s hidden from the light of day

Few have found this secret place
Where unicorns and fairies race
It lies beyond a crystal sea
In a twilight realm of fantasy

Down a stardust path that bends
O’er the sky where the rainbow ends
I never know what wondrous thing
My trip into this place will bring

All my hopes and wishful dreams
Wait for me on moonlight beams
When I return at break of dawn
And waken with a sleepy yawn

My mind is overwhelmed with awe
At all the wondrous things I saw
And I will keep them in my grip
‘Till I can take another trip

So come my friend and sail with me
Across the moonlit crystal sea
Into the twilight, beyond day
To dreamscape where the fairies play
