My grandson loves to cruise
The Las Vegas streets with old Papa.

We went to the barbershop, and afterward
I treated him to a home cooked meal (and candy!).

I delivered the little warrior back to mommy,
And he persuaded me to sit for dinner.

I sat on the floor at his little folding table,
And he commenced to serve me

From his play kitchen—chicken,
Mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, cornbread,

Pie! Ah, what a scrumptious meal!
Plastic never tasted so good!

This is so adorable, Art. I bought my little great grandaughter a play kitchen for Christmas and I have certainly  had my share of plastic food and imaginary tea.
You're absolutely right, I never had a more enjoyable meal.

Thanks for your enjoyable comments, Ida. We kids know how to appreciate the finer little moments in life that are revealed in the ways of children.
