The Fruition Of Friendship ~*Marge Tindal*~ Ten years ago I first went online Didn't know a soul out there at all Entered a site called 'Find-A-Friend' where I put out a friendship call~ Got some hits from special folks who each came to be someone very, very special as friends to live in the heart of me~ First was Don Anger, my Warrior, who was the alter Spirit of my heart Loving friend and mentor he became before from this earth he had to depart~ Also Marti, from New England, who I've come to love a special lady sent from above We still stay in touch over the miles someday I hope to see her true-to-life smile~ Along came Betty from the South who exchanged emails with me online She moved to Oklahoma ... then on to the Virginia hills We've maintained a friendship, via cyber-space, now the time has come to meet ... it simply gives me chills~  She arrived here to meet me I was as eager as eager could be Waiting ... anticipating ... Along with little Landry Leigh~ She came with her hubby, Gregg, friends Jeannie and Dave too Landry taught Jeannie how to play ‘Go Fish’ and ‘Apples and Worms’ too~  My Bill joined us for our visit, much too short for us all But, the day goes down in my memories As a favorite one that I always will recall~  Betts, you are just EXACTLY who I knew you’d be Landry Leigh thought you were neat too ! Thank you, my friend, for coming We sure do love you~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Marge... Great poem. I'm sure ya'll had a great time. I remember when I first joined PIP alot of the old timers so to speak had a get together.
