When I tell the world
all the ways, the touch,
the smile,
the you of you,
leave me trembling
in places too deep
for thought to comprehend,
Is it Poetry?

When I tell the world
your kiss is like
the dew-drenched caress
of a rose
in full bloom.
Which is true,
Is it Poetry?

When I tell the world
(and probably you)
for the first time
"I love you",
double-spaced
consumed by a
a thousand used cliques
and
endless sounding echos of rhymn,
Is it Poetry?

When I whisper in your heart
feeling
no one has ever
spoken-
no one has ever written,
no one has ever felt but us
and I forget to write it down,
Is it Poetry?

I liked this line best of all...and somewhere there is an echo...yes, it is poetry...

I would say love is poetry in itself, the whispers of the heart are the most enticing poetry ... good you did not forget to jot them down ...
