Perhaps you already knew
that raindrops would keep
falling upon your head,
and even if your friend
Butch Cassidy were to
shoot the messenger, what
would be, would still be.
Cowboy hats and raincoats
can protect you from rain
but nothing will protect
the two of you from
the mortal pain
of a stinging
rain of
bullets.

Excellent tale in verse with a lesson learned. I enjoyed the structure of the lines which flowed nicely to a point.

I loved that movie, especially the humor in it. I'm sure their story was quite different in real life.
