Thoughts for my young cousin drowned in a fishing tragedy nearly two years ago.. aged only 9. I am so scared mommy I can’t see your face I’m lost in this darkness And have no space I need to touch you mommy I want to hold you tight But I’m struggling for breath And I’m losing the fight Why can’t I breathe mommy Why can’t I smile Why can’t I just keep living awhile Will God take care of me Will God be nice Will he mind if I tell him I don’t like rice I have to go now mommy I have to fly But I’ll come and visit If you promise not to cry I love you mommy…. Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight......... |
