Past Demons

Bold and blind
A shadow unto the sea
A miracle, the seed that sewn
The vanity of my mind
Looking in the a darkened me
some embers left once kind
A gentle soul, tortured and spit out
I look ahead of me to scout
And hope to see the signs about
But scathed and loathed
Scared and shamed
Arise again and spread silk wind of gold
And face the world shunned, now bold
'Live your life and live it well
There is not much more of me to tell

This tells much about who dips often into the wisdom of his own soul.  Loved the introspection.  Thanks for sharing.
