Lazy snowflakes fall
Slowly; it feels as though
The earth is rising.

I wake to swishing,
Curtains billow, then pull back,
The house is breathing!

You'll remember me,
When the west wind moves, among
The fields of barley.*

*found haiku from the song, "Fields of Gold"

I enjoyed the first two haiku's, but absolutely loved the third.
