I’m in love with a woman

Somebody I don’t deserve

Somebody beautiful

Somebody so smart, so gifted

So full of love

And life.

She’s so full of it

Every day I look at the faces

None of them compare to her

None of them will ever compare to her

I watch the faces

And hope that one day it is hers

Just so I can hug her again

This time i will squeeze her, and not let go

And cherish the greatest feeling in the world

before exchanging a few awkward words

While trying to hide the fact

That this small moment I am sharing with her

Thank you all for the replies..

but dont say "good luck"..

this is not somebody i am talking to or somebody i will ever actively pursue a romantic relationship with .. she is spoken for and with the person who is right for her as far as i can tell

i will hide my happiness because she doesnt need to know about it..

besides i havent talked to her in forever

she probably doesnt even think much about me

i dont know what to say about it..

besides maybe..

you dont always choose who you fall in love with

i know i didnt

it hit me by surprise one day... i didnt see it coming

it is killing me but it is making me a stronger person too.

even when i date others she is still there in my mind.... but i know we could never be!

life is odd and rarely fair
