A time zone dedicated to me, justification that I am not late – I am special. Car filled with dog toys and cookies – dogs grinning happily out of every window. Bank, Espresso Stand, Gas Station, mapped around free cookie bones. Too rushed to primp, hair pulled back, tangled - always just this side of messy. I mutter haiku to myself, running errands Crossword puzzles defeat me – baths are boring. Mother’s daughter, baby of the family and dreamer, jump rope rhymer, rain dancer. Laughter spurts out loud over silly things dog – cat play, knock-knock jokes told by children, clever innuendo, the jokes on me. Cruelty to animals, pain in children, longing for life among the dying, heart hurting until tears heal. Nothing overly original, not much too special about me as I work, play, work, love, work and live the life I carve out. Bursting into off-key songs, dancing wildly, tripping over my feet, flying, and always embracing life. --- Alison |

I don't know how old you are, but I read this and wondered if I got some poor guy pregnant. You could be...me! "Too rushed to primp, hair pulled back, tangled - always just this side of messy. I mutter haiku to myself, running errands Crossword puzzles defeat me – baths are boring. Mother’s daughter, baby of the family and dreamer, jump rope rhymer, rain dancer." Yep. Who's ya daddy, baby? *laughing* thank you Alison, so much. another new favorite from you! |

Alison, In this hectic life we live, some people just fall to pieces. Bravo to you for embracing them. Much enjoyed the "peek". Doc |

Thank you all - if there is one lesson I have learned in life so far, it is to slow down and savor what is offered. It sounds trite only because it is so true. Alison |
