Roam Invisible, silent energy that magnifies its presence Haunting the fringe of the fire in a whispers tease Meandering, the white blown blue then blushed Symmetrical moans linger on in jubilant echo I turn, east to west in a rattan dish Pour beyond the door, in dampened darkness Leaning an ear into the rain dancing Cotton soft, to hem of warmth, thin woven around me Muse, the music of flute exhaled sweetly Builds in my pulse to epilogue, sheer and close Your words and diction, gentle friction on my skin Traveling the bounds of curiosity to light again I wonder Are you thinking what I’m thinking? The contradiction of fire and water speaks In a language, we have honed kinetic peaks Subtlety of touch, magnifies as much the flame When the night calls out to me, your name Copyright Kkh 4/10/08 |

smiling wide--you must be drinking chamomile too! We seem to be on the same mellow page. That first stanza, I thought, wow, Kathleen's doing qui gong!  Totally suits me mood, too. It's been too long, m'friend. And you really should bottle your poetry. It's engagingly melllllllllllllow!  |
