Angelo’s just turned eleven to day. It just past nine at night, and he’s not home yet. He’s out roaming the street, with his gang of friends. Felix and Sally, they’re not worried, that’s where Angelo’s supposed to be. After all, he is eleven. It’s a crowded street, with lots of neighbors, sitting out watching. That’s where they were, when they were eleven. He’ll be home, in his own good time. He is eleven. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. Bobby |

When I was eleven I was running like a gypsy in the woods as late as I wanted. Different world, but raised with independence. Alison |

Alison, That's good, that's what made you Alison. My mother gave me my independence at ten. She sat me down, and told me I could do anything I wanted to. She wasn't going to worry. She was a wise woman. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (04-09-2008 10:25 PM).] |

I pretty much ran lose too. We learn what we live. I think one might be better off these days to be a bit street wise. Ida |

Ida, Street wise pays big dividends. Street dumb can be fatal. I've seen that, it's a sad thing. Bobby |

My pops turned me loose quite young, I in turn, turned Larry loose quite young, however, Larry turned around and brought his ENTIRE gang of friends home with him… They made a mess, ate ALL the food, demolished my house, and they NEVER left!!! I love it that way… Tammy<333 |

Dear Tammy<333, God bless them all, and you too. When I was growing up, I was raised by the whole neighborhood. I spent as much time at other peoples houses as I did at home. That's the way it's supposed to be. Love Bobby |

Dear RDB, Yeah, but you're one of those "girls". Roniece, there is nothing at all wrong with that. We all have different ways of raising children. That's the way it should be. It makes for an interesting world. God bless us all. Bobby |

Dear RDB, Catholic girls are the best. That's one of the reasons I never miss Mass on Sunday. Bobby |
