There was an advertising Pontiac On Times Square this morning, A red car to create envy, A red car to make people dream, And work eight hours a day Cause what people are crazy for Is to possess a beautiful car Or a big plasma screen And get the best high tech computer And all the things that change their life, And may be they’re right to think like that, If that makes them happy That’s good enough for me. |

Yann, It would make me even happier if I was in the retail trade. Nice writing, I enjoyed it. Bobby |

This is very good, yann. I'm all for people being happy too. If the world could work together instead of fighting all the time we could all have enough to go around and make everyone happy. |

2islander2 I love this poem… If that is what makes them happy that is great with me, but it also reminds me of how truly happy I am even without that stuff. Tammy<333 |

Nice thoughts...I often think of the lure of happiness, and of course the opposite of it, unhappiness or sadness... We seek our happiness in other people, money, fame, material things, as if it is a position to be permanantly achieved, and yet it is just a part of the sum of our experiences...James |
